Dog-friendly Faversham

It’s no mystery why dogs are known as man’s best friend. If you’ve had a stressful day they’ll greet you at the door with a wagging tail. If you’re watching a film and need a snuggle buddy, they’re there for you. If you’re off on an adventure, they’re always happy to join you.

In Faversham, we are extremely lucky to have a fabulous selection of shops and businesses that will welcome your four-legged friend with open arms/paws.   Whether you’re stopping for a bite to eat, or popping into the shops, there are plenty of places you can visit with your dog.

To coincide with Faversham Town Council’s forthcoming Howl-O-Ween Parade taking place on the 29th October, we thought we’d celebrate our dog-friendly town by putting together a directory of businesses in Faversham where dogs are welcome.

Thank you to your sponsors!

Many thanks to Tell’s Pet Accessories who trades on Faversham Market and sells a wide range of food, snacks and treats for your pets for supporting our dog-friendly guide. Keep up-to-date with Tell’s news on his Facebook page here.

Also, a big shout out to Poppy and Swiss, for her support.  She’s a local illustrator who specialises in creating beautiful portraits of your dog, these make for perfect, affordable gifts! Check out her website here.
